HEY! I'M
TRAVIS BARKER

A Little About Me!

Growing up in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia isn't something a lot of people get to experience. Surrounded by endless forests and lakes along with four very distinct seasons I have always been surrounded by constant views. I feel like it was only natural to have a desire to capture these views and the special moments that go with them.

Once I got my lisence and my own car, taking photos of it were an absolute must. Ironically, I only have a handful of photos of that car. Getting into the car scene has pushed my skills as a photographer, but has developed my social skills more than anything else!

Although I've mostly done automotive photography, I have expanded my horizons into couples, engagements and weddings! I also have been experimenting with landscapes, street, and wildlife photography! Stay tuned on my blog to see the most recent journies I have photographed!

I'm a photographer from Vernon, British Columbia. My three biggest hobbies consist of photography, cars, and camping. Fortunately enough, these three go hand-in-hand pretty well! I enjoy meeting new people while I'm on my adventures, creating a true connection and friendship while learning about their background.

I got started with photography when I was 15, while taking a video production class in high school. Although that wasn't exactly photography, the act of using a camera to create a piece of art that told a story was what got me hooked. I quickly got my own camera and taught myself EVERYTHING about photography!

My photography career began with taking photos of my first car that I built and modified, a 2003 Honda Civic, along with that passion, I met many great people and was fortunate enough to take photos of their cars as well. Building these connections gave me the perfect outlet to quickly advance my skills as a photographer and create my own style.

Along the way, with the help of these many great connections, I have since learned to photograph couples and weddings!

Visualize. Plan. Create. Publish.

This is my definition of the photograpahy process. Being able to creatively see something where others may see nothing and then actually bringing that vision to reality is one of the coolest feelings!
